Dr. Dagmar Schultz's Interview with Jess Oliveira and Marny Garcia Mommertz

Jess Oliveira is a translator and a Ph.D student in Salvador. She produced the Brazilian Portuguese subtitles for both the Audre Lorde film and the May Ayim film, Hope in My Heart. She also published a bilingual selection of May Ayim’s poems.

Marny Garcia Mommertz is Afro-German. She has lived and studied in several countries, and presently lives in Salvador, working at the Goethe Institut.
